Due to ongoing growth and expansion, our client is seeking a Tanker Technical Superintendent to join their technical management team in Cyprus. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations of a fleet of tankers, ensuring vessels are maintained in top condition, compliant with safety and environmental standards, and meeting all regulatory and class requirements. You will also provide technical support to onboard crews, conduct inspections, manage vessel dry-docking and repair schedules, and collaborate closely with various departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
To be considered for this role you must:
- Have sailed up to Chief Engineer on tankers.
- Have at least 2 years’ experience as a Technical Superintendent within the maritime industry.
- Be highly knowledgeable in tanker operations and technical management.
- Possess fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Have the ability to relocate to Cyprus and commit to living there.
