Our client is a German shipping company who have seen great success through their extensive time in the market. Over the course of their life span they have built up a strong presence in Hamburg. Even though the dry market has been a tough one over the course of the last 5 years they have still maintained a strong profit and look likely to continue this trend. 
 

The role is for a Technical Superintendent who will be responsible for all technical aspects of the Dry Cargo under their command. You will ensure all vessels are compliant with the most recent maritime legislation.  A key responsibility will also be travelling to inspect your vessels whilst they are on a voyage.
 

 

Successful candidate’s must
 

- Have sailed as a Chief Engineer on dry / cargo vessels


- Have at least 2 years Technical Superintendent experience with Dry Cargo vessels


- Be comfortable with planning and adhering to fiscal budgets.


- Be a clear communicator and forward thinker
