As a Utility Crew Member on board, you will be an essential part of the kitchen team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in the galley. This role is critical to maintaining the overall guest experience, as it directly impacts the quality of service provided. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen staff to uphold the cleanliness of kitchen areas, handle equipment carefully, and assist in maintaining hygiene standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Preferably experienced in the hotel industry and/or previous experience on a (river) cruise ship.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a team-oriented approach, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Professional attitude, reliable work ethic, and strong teamwork skills.
  • Open-minded with strong social, interpersonal, and cultural competencies.
  • Basic English skills (written & verbal); additional language skills, such as German, are advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently, with a focus on service and guest satisfaction.
  • Physical stamina and reliability, capable of standing for extended periods.
  • Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and adherence to HACCP and company standards.
